Covid-19 –  04/05/2021

Due to the success of the Covid-19 regulations and vaccination programme in the UK, we are now able to make plans to re-open the Society.
There will be two informal meetings at BRFC on 5th July and 2nd August 2021, see below for times. Other meetings will continue with Zoom.

From September all meetings will resume at BRFC.

We will continue to monitor the government advice/regulations and adjust accordingly.

VISITORS ALWAYS WELCOME TO ANY OF OUR MEETINGS

BASOC, the Bromsgrove Astronomical Society, caters for Astronomers of all ages and experience in the local area.

We have many members ranging from highly seasoned amateurs to those without telescopes at all so don’t feel too intimidated to pop along one evening at the Bromsgrove Rugby Club in Finstall.

The Rugby Club is a fantastic venue and offers dark skies with a good southern view.

If you’re not sure where we are take a look on Google Maps, society location for more info.

We have membership deals to suit most astronomers. Follow the membership link on the top menu.
